Pausing a user temporarily

A user may be temporarily inactivated (paused) from participating in surveys, for instance during sick leave or parental leave. A paused user is still part of the organizational tree, and still has access to Populum and the team reports.

To temporarily pause a user:

  1. Navigate to the user in the organization tree by clicking “Organization” and searching for the user’s name or email address.
  2. Click the gear wheel next to the user’s name.
  3. Choose “Pause“.
  4. Choose the date when the user should be reactivated again, or choose “Pause indefinitely” if the reactivation date is unknown.

To activate a temporarily paused user:

  1. Navigate to the user in the organization tree by clicking “Organization” and searching for the user’s name or email address.
  2. Click the gear wheel next to the user’s name.
  3. Choose “Edit pause”.
  4. Choose “Reactivate [Name]“.

A user who is temporarily paused at the time a specific survey cycle closes will not be included when the response rate is calculated.
